Product Description

Optical Window is an optically flat, transparent optical material that allows light into an instrument. MG-Optics offers a wide variety of optical windows made from materials like N-BK7, fused silica, Sapphire, Germanium, Zinc Selenide, Calcium Fluoride, and Magnesium Fluoride. Parallel or wedged optical windows can be provided with laser grade surface quality and surface flatness for common or very demanding interferometer measurements. MG-optics also offers anti reflection coated optical windows to improve the transmission from UV to IR wavelength regime.

Optical Materials

MG-Optics offers a wide variety of spherical and aspherical lens and optical window made from N-BK 7, UV grade fused silica, Infrared gradeCalcium Fluoride (CaF2), Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2), and Zinc Selenide (ZnS) materials. For applications in the visible and infrared up to about 2.1 µm,N- BK 7 offers excellent performance at a good value. In the ultraviolet down to 195 nm, UV fused silica is a good choice. UV fused silica also has excellent transmission in the visible and infrared up to about 2.1 µm, better homogeneity, and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than N-BK 7. CaF2 and MgF2 are excellent choices for deep UV or infrared applications—for custom applications.

MG-Optics will also provide you optical Optical Flat, optical  Aspheric Mirror, custom CGH and Optical Mirror Blank
